Comfort
A shoulder to lean on is one of the oldest forms of technology we have: another human being.
Technology changes the ways we communicate, remember, gather and care for one another. Culture, in turn, shapes the values and behaviors through which technology enters our lives. Somewhere between the two is the human need that remains constant: to connect.
Comfort (A Shoulder to Lean On) reflects on that need through an image of two figures holding one another. The masks obscure individual identity, shifting attention away from who they are and toward what they are doing for each other.
What do you lean on?
Choose the answer that feels closest to you. Nothing is recorded.
From code to culture, technology changes the medium. Human connection gives it meaning.
